The difference

From a list of groups to a picture of belonging.

A young man stands alone at the edge of a busy church lobby, holding a coffee. Before
  • Group rosters live in leaders' notebooks and messaging apps.
  • Someone asks to join a group, and the request goes nowhere.
  • Staff can't tell which groups are healthy until a leader quits.

  • Every group, member and gathering on the church's own record.
  • Join requests reach the leader, who welcomes the person by name.
  • Attendance, placements and groups needing attention, in one view.
For group leaders

Leaders lead people, not spreadsheets.

A leader sees their group: the next gathering, new members to welcome and who came last time.

  • New members flagged for a welcome.
  • A snapshot of who is active and who attended.
  • Message the group or prepare the next gathering in one tap.
A group leader's view of New Believers: three new members to welcome, a group snapshot of six active members with half attending the last gathering, and recent activity.
Every gathering

Attendance in a minute, follow-up that follows.

Mark who came, close out the gathering, and visitors and needs reach the right team.

  • Before, during and after steps for every gathering.
  • Visitors recorded, not lost.
  • In person or online, with the meeting link on the gathering.
Recording attendance for the New Believers gathering: before, during and after steps, six of six members recorded as present or absent, and the gathering's meeting point, host and checklist.
How do we help people actually belong?

Everything a group needs.

  • Groups and classes

Groups, classes and cohorts by campus, each with a leader.

  • A home base for every leader

Their next gathering and who to welcome, and nothing they shouldn't see.

  • Gatherings with a before and after

Prepare, record attendance with visitors, then close out.

  • Join requests that land

Members ask to join in the app; leaders welcome them.

  • Group chat, with oversight

Chat in the app, with reporting and a church-wide on/off switch.

  • Classes that count

Finishing a membership class becomes part of the person's journey.

After the gathering

What one evening sets in motion.

Close out a gathering and its outcomes reach the teams that need them.

  1. PeopleAttendance posts to each person's record.
  2. ConnectA visitor gets a follow-up with an owner.
  3. CareA need shared in the room reaches the care team.
  4. LifecycleGroup membership shows on the person's journey.

Book a walkthrough
Do group leaders see everyone's records?
No. Group leaders can work with their members, gatherings and attendance within their authorized responsibilities.
Can groups meet online?
Yes. A gathering can carry a meeting link for the video or calling service your group already uses.
Can we turn group chat off?
Yes. Group chat is a church-level setting, and members can report a message to leaders.
How do people find a group?
Members browse groups in the member app and ask to join; you can also share an invite link. Website visitors can ask about groups through your contact form, and that question reaches Connect.
