Covenantory Text Messaging
Covenantory uses SMS for account, operational, support, and customer-enabled church messaging where available. This page explains the types of messages sent, how recipients can get help or opt out, and how mobile opt-in information is handled. For more information, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Overview
Covenantory supports several distinct text-messaging programs. Each has its own sender, purpose, and consent responsibility:
- Covenantory platform SMS — walkthrough, account, onboarding, support, security, and administrative messages Covenantory sends to prospective customers, tenant administrators, staff, and authorized business contacts who explicitly opt in, where enabled.
- Church-to-member messaging — messages a customer church sends to its own members and contacts, where the church is responsible for consent.
- Text-to-Give — donor-initiated giving workflows, where enabled.
- Across programs: reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
2. Covenantory platform SMS
Where enabled, Covenantory may send text messages to prospective customers who opt in on the public walkthrough form and to tenant administrators, staff users, and authorized business contacts who opt in through notification preferences. Messages are limited to walkthrough follow-up, account setup, onboarding, service notifications, support follow-up, security and account alerts, administrative activity, and related platform updates. This program is separate from any church-to-member messaging a customer sends.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive platform SMS is not required to purchase or use Covenantory services.
- Reply STOP to opt out.
- Reply HELP for help.
- See Privacy Policy at /privacy and Terms of Service at /terms.
- Public opt-in evidence: /sms-opt-in-evidence.
3. Church-to-member messaging
Where enabled, churches and ministry organizations may use Covenantory to communicate with their members, donors, guests, volunteers, and other contacts. In this program the church is the sender.
Each church is responsible for obtaining and maintaining consent before sending SMS messages to its recipients. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
4. Text-to-Give
Where enabled, donors may initiate giving workflows by texting an assigned or dedicated number. Payment methods are managed through secure, Covenantory-powered giving pages and third-party payment processors — not through the content of SMS messages.
Message frequency varies based on donor-initiated activity. STOP opt-out and HELP support apply.
5. Mobile data non-sharing
Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Opt-in data is used only to provide the requested messaging services, manage consent, deliver messages, process opt-outs, support compliance, and maintain audit records, and is shared only with service providers necessary to deliver those services or as required by law.
6. Help
