Give
Online, by text, by tap, at a card reader or in the plate.
Count
Two counters by fund. Nothing posts while totals disagree.
Review and post
Recorded versus counted, resolved and approved, then posted.
Reconcile
Match deposits and payouts to the bank, reviewed by finance, not a spreadsheet.
Report
Household statements, fund balances and budget against actual.
Correct with a trail
Void and replace, never erase. The reason stays attached.
Three people, one trail.
Counted by one, checked by a second, posted by finance, with every total compared before it reaches a giver.
- Nothing posts while the totals disagree.
- Designated funds keep their balances and never bleed into the general fund.
- Budgets by ministry, tracked against actual spending through the year.

Every correction stays accountable.
When a gift needs correcting, authorized finance staff can preserve the original record and document the change.
- Void and replace, never erase.
- Every correction records who, when and why.
- Statements reflect the correction, even after year end.

From trusting the process to proving it.
Before: One person counts the offering alone, and nobody checks the total.
With Covenantory: Two people count, a third reviews, and nothing posts while totals disagree.
Before: A gift to the wrong fund is fixed by editing it, and the trail is gone.
With Covenantory: Corrections void and replace, with the original, the reason and who made it kept.
Before: Year-end statements take a week of spreadsheet reconciling.
With Covenantory: One statement per household, from the same record your counters started.
Stewardship each seat can trust.

What churches ask about giving and finance.
Straight answers from how Covenantory works today. Bring the rest to a walkthrough.
Book a walkthrough- What happens when the count and the recorded total disagree?
- The session stays in review until the difference is explained and resolved. Nothing posts to a giver's record while the totals disagree.
- Can a posted gift be changed?
- Authorized finance staff can correct it. The original stays on the record, a reason is required, and the replacement posts to the corrected fund, all the way through the statement.
- Do designated funds stay separate?
- Yes. Each fund keeps its own balance and reporting. A gift to a building fund never bleeds into the general fund.
- Does it work with our accounting software?
- By import. Your bookkeeper imports balanced journal entries as a spreadsheet, or laid out for QuickBooks Online or Aplos, so the books match what was counted, reviewed and deposited. Confirm your accounting package's import format with us before switching.
